CEQUENS partners with Sonatel Group to offer two new connections in Africa


CEQUENS is proud to announce its collaboration with Sonatel Group, the West African mobile telecom company, to add two new direct connectivity routes to its direct and premium coverage. The new A2P SMS connectivity routes cover Guinea-Bissau and Senegal.

In our strive to strengthen our leading position and presence across the Middle East and Africa, CEQUENS is continuously working on closing partnerships and acquiring new direct connections with mobile network operators across the region.

Last September, CEQUENS entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Synq Africa, a Kenyan-based messaging provider, further expanding its Africa footprint. In early 2019, CEQUENS teamed up with MTN, a South African mobile telecom company, to add five new direct connections in South Africa, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Ghana, and Nigeria.

We continue to provide unrivaled regional coverage and competitive reach to unlimited destinations and, on a regional scale, the company boasts more than 80 percent coverage through mobile network operators.
