All Money Transfers need an IBAN to be processed

Important Update To Our Valued Customers

As per the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) latest regulation updates, all incoming and outgoing money transfers to CEQUENS must include the International Bank Account Number (IBAN), to be processed.

Effective June 30, 2020, all local and international transfers must include the IBAN number.

What is an IBAN?

IBAN is a bank account number that is used by financial institutions and banks around the world. An alphanumeric number, IBANs don’t replace SWIFT code or account numbers; they are used to identify individual bank accounts for international money transfer transactions.
