Room 4 is compatible with virtually every Lync or Skype for Business deployment, our support extends to on-premises Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Microsoft Lync Server 2013, Skype for Business Server 2015, as well as Skype for Business Online (Office 365) and hybrid Lync and Skype for Business deployments.
Room 4 supports a wide range of meeting room USB video conferencing peripherals including TVs, cameras, and speaker sets. The built-in mini HDMI and included cable allow you to connect any meeting room TV to Room 4 with HDMI. Camera and speaker set support include a myriad of AV devices, virtually every USB Lync or Skype for Business certified device is supported by Room 4.

Room 4 is proudly powered by the Intel NUC with vPro processor and Intel Unite (on select models), its tiny 4in x 4in form factor allows you to conveniently mount and hide Room 4 behind your TV. Room 4 redefines plug-and-play setup and can be easily installed by your IT and configured to connect to your Exchange and Lync or Skype for Business server in minutes. With Room 4, you do not need specialized AV technicians to install your Lync or Skype Room System.
Multiple ways to share and collaborate on content
Room 4 is purpose built for content sharing and collaboration with support for file sharing from USB storage devices, whiteboard with save and send, screen sharing over HDMI input, as well as screen casting or mirroring with wireless AirSharing from mobile phones, tablets and laptops enabled with MiraCast, AirPlay, or Intel Unite. MiraCast enabled devices include phones or tablets with Android 4.2 or higher, BlackBerry 10.2.1 or higher, and Microsoft Windows Phones 8.1. AirPlay is supported on Apple iOS 4.2 or higher.
A unique room identity that connects to your company directory
Room 4 allows you to give your Skype Meeting Room a unique identity, with its own identity, your meeting room now has its own calendar that is clearly displayed when you first walk into the room. For privacy, Room 4 displays the currently scheduled meeting, and the previous and next scheduled meetings. With one-click, users can join any of the three scheduled meetings on the screen to instantly start the online meeting.
With its unique plug-and-play configuration, HDMI, and USB device support, Room 4 installation and setup is designed to consume only 4 minutes from your own IT staff. Once all the cables and your devices are connected to Room 4, simply power up your new Skype Room System, supply required information to allow Room 4 to connect to your Exchange server, and enter the meeting room’s Exchange and Skype for Business or Lync account.

Room 4 Skype Room System was purpose built for the average user from the ground up, with an intuitive user interface and experience that uses the same terminology as Lync or Skype for Business PC clients. Room 4’s start screen highlights the meeting room’s calendar, and the entire user experience is centered around the meeting room’s calendar, allowing meeting room users to join scheduled meetings, start impromptu meetings, share content, and collaborate on a whiteboard right from the start screen and with one click. This approach eliminates the need for user training and speeds up user adoption.
